Belle Coulée Morgans is a small Morgan breeding farm managed by Aura and René Pombert. We are located just south of Edmonton, Alberta Canada.
Our start with Morgans began in 1995 with the registration of our prefix BCM and the purchase of two mares from the late Aubrey Kubbernus, Kodiak Morgans. Both mares were in foal to the great palomino stallion Speedking (Speedramp Walker x Julie Bird). We continue to breed to Stan and Ruth Walker's offspring, the foals produced are athletic, beautiful Working Western confirmations, a mind set willing to learn and with an added bonus, a splash of color. Bloodlines in our breeding include a wealth of old mid west blood, Merry Ethan, Correll King, Blackwood Correll, Red Correll, King Pine, Winterset, Speedfield, Rosefield.
We promote interest in the old original Morgan blood lines, many of which are now endangered, and encourage people to breed and preserve them.
The horses we raise are used in endurance racing, trail riding, eventing, driving and of course most important of all as family pleasure horses. Morgans do truly do it all.
The physical address to our farm: 49451 Hwy. 814 Leduc Alberta.
Enjoy our site and thank-you for visiting.
